I am registered as a telehealth provider in the State of Florida and can offer individual and couple’s therapy to those Florida residents who are open to holding therapy sessions on a “remote only” basis. Sessions are held on a confidential HIPAA compliant video platform.

Before the pandemic, my entire practice was in-person only. During the course of the pandemic, I transitioned my entire practice online, and I still hold most sessions on a virtual basis.

I think it can be helpful to meet occasionally in-person as such meetings can serve to strengthen the treatment alliance. I do not however consider in-person meetings to be necessary for progress in therapy. This is because I have by now had so many “remote only” courses of treatment that have ended with a successful completion of the therapy.
